Locus Media along with Les Clefs d’Or India launches Concierge City Map for Northern India

Les Clefs d’ Or India in association with Locus Media brought out Concierge City Map for Northern India. The enhanced specially curated city map for hotel concierges was released by David Hopcroft, General Manager, Pullman Central Park Gurgaon. Rajesh Yadav, President, Concierge Association of India and first Vice President, Les Clefs d’Or India spoke about the key features of the new map. After Bangalore and Mumbai, Delhi is the third city where Locus Media has come out with specially curated Concierge Map. The map will be used by hotel concierges in member hotels across Delhi NCR, Agra and Jaipur.

The Imperial New Delhi wins friendly Cricket Match with New Zealand High Commission

‘The Imperial Icons’, The Imperial Hotel Cricket Team, won a friendly cricket match with New Zealand High Commission team (Kiwi Indians). The Imperial Icons registered a 9-wicket win over the Kiwi Indians. Present to watch the interesting contest were Vijay Wanchoo, Senior Executive Vice President & General Manager of The Imperial; Grahame Morton, High Commissioner of New Zealand to India; Michael Appleton, Deputy High Commissioner and Mark Westenra, First Secretary and Consul of New Zealand.

Shangri-La’s Eros Hotel’s CSR initiative for the hearing-impaired

Shangri-La’s - Eros Hotel, New Delhi in association with Noida Deaf Society celebrated ‘Embrace - Shangri-La’s Care for People’ Project over High Tea recently at the hotel. NDS provides vocational training to hearing-impaired students to enhance their employability quotient and enable them to become contributive partners to society. Shangri-La’s - Eros Hotel, New Delhi, as part of their CSR initiative has been working with NDS and hiring ten students from every batch who have been trained in hospitality divisions such as Concierge, Laundry, Housekeeping and Security, before they commence their internship at the hotel.

Courtyard by Marriott’s innovative campaign, The Elevator Pitch, which commenced a month back to foster the next generation of entrepreneurs announced its top five finalists. The panel included names like Rajeev Menon, Area Vice President of South Asia, Marriott International; Pratul Gupta, Vice President – Portfolio of Avigo Capital and Pallav Nadhani, Co-founder and CEO of Fusion Charts, with India’s champion woman golfer and model Sharmila Nicollet as the host. The winning project will be awarded a cash-prize of 1 million rupees to turn their idea into reality.

The Westin Mumbai Garden City raises charity by organising Charity Run for Assisi Bhavan

The Westin Mumbai Garden City organised a 5 km Charity Run in Goregaon to raise funds for Assisi Bhavan - Home for Aged. Around 160 runners participated in the event and a sum of Rs 1,03,000 was raised for Assisi Bhavan.
