10th Anniversary celebration at Brigade Hospitality

Brigade Hospitality in association with Bangalore Chamber of Industry and Commerce (BCIC) organised an exclusive round-table discussion on ‘Karnataka Tourism Roadmap 2020’ at Sheraton Hotel Bangalore at Brigade Gateway to mark the 10th anniversary of the company. Arvind Jadhav, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary -Tourism, Government of Karnataka was the Chief Guest. Senior officials from the State Tourism Department, BIAL, Meru Cabs, KTF, Travel & Tour operators, Integrated Healthcare and BIEC were present among others.

Somerset Greenways Chennai contribute to ‘Swachh Bharat’ mission

Pledging their solidarity towards ‘Swachh Bharat’ Mission of the Prime Minister, the staff of Ascott Somerset Greenways Chennai organized a clean-up of MRC Nagar area of Chennai. After the clean-up activity, the staff took a pledge and made a collective promise to continue their efforts to keep their community, city and country clean. They also distributed notebooks with the ‘Swachh Bharat’ pledge to students from Chettinad Vidyashram.

Zee Khana Khazana makes Children’s Day special for special kids

Making the Children’s Day a fun event for children, Zee Khana Khazana led by Chef Gautam Mehrishi and Junior Master Chef Emanuel Chauhan celebrated the day with special kids of the Save the Children India Foundation, by engaging them in some recreational activities and games. This exciting fiesta was specially conceptualized by Zee Khana Khazana and peppered with live cooking demonstrations, enjoyable games, music and dance sessions.

Traditional Cake Mixing@ The Imperial New Delhi

Art Spice Gallery at The Metropolitan Hotel New Delhi in alliance with the Turkish Embassy, commemorated the culture and tradition of Turkey, on the occasion of Turkey’s National Day using the truly deserving and rewarding medium of art. This stellar show was also supported by luxury lifestyle store, Craft House, one of the world’s best airlines, Turkish Airlines and hi-end lifestyle magazine, Verve. The show was conceived by Art Spice gallery to display the beautiful and daunting works of award-winning Turkish artist, Serdar Leblebici and was inaugurated by Dr. Burak Akcapar, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey.

ICF Judging Seminar

As part of preparing certified judges for culinary competitions, Indian Culinary Forum (ICF) organised second judging seminar in partnership with the world body of chefs, WACS, in New Delhi. Australian Chef Rick Stephen, WACS Continental Director for Asia and a certified WACS Trainer, conducted a day-long ‘B-level’ judging programme for Chefs.

Special Guest at Taj Tashi Bhutan

Taj Tashi, set in the heart of the picturesque Thimphu Valley in Bhutan, received President of India, Pranab Mukherjee and his delegation on their first bilateral visit to the Kingdom of Bhutan. Children’s Day at Kempinski Ambience Hotel Delhi

Kempinski Ambience Hotel Delhi, celebrated Children’s Day with special kids from Noida Deaf Society (NDS), a project started by a home maker Ruma Roka. In order to acknowledge her efforts, Kempinski Ambience Hotel Delhi team led by General Manager Puneet Singh, spent the day with these kids. The hotel made some special arrangements for the children to make the Children’s Day an unforgettable one.

Hyatt India Culinary Challenge

Hyatt India Culinary Challenge - people cooking for people - preliminary rounds were held across Hyatt Hotels in Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai, Raipur, Ahmadabad, Kolkata, Pune and Hyderabad from October 31. Hyatt Regency Mumbai played host to the event on November 2. Each participant was paired with a child from the SMILE foundation, Hyatt’s partner NGO in India.

Cake Mixing @ The Suryaa Hotel Delhi

The Suryaa Hotel performed an age old ceremony of cake mixing to mark the beginning of the festive season. The Suryaa team headed by Chef Sanjay Bahl had invited children from Magic Bus, a kid’s organization dealing with orphan children, to be part of the cake mixing activity. This was an initiative taken up by The Suryaa hotel to club Children’s Day and cake mixing event to bring happiness and smile.
