Christened ‘School of Tourism and Hospitality Service Sectoral Management,’ the school will offer Bachelors, Masters, MPhil and PhD degrees. The learners will be taught and trained through a mix of online, face-to-face and open distance learning mode, said the officials.
“Positive contribution to the growth of tourism industry will be one of the main focuses of the school. Our pass-outs will engage towards promoting a proper growth and controlled tourism activity especially in the fragile environmental zones for long term sustenance," said Professor Ravindra Kumar of the institute. The other highlight of the course will be its flexibility. “Whenever necessary, we can cut out a segment of the programme and make it region-specific, targeting it to a specific clientele,” said Kumar |
