Chef Mahesh Kumar Sharma joins Radisson Blu Hotel, Dwarka

Chef Mahesh Kumar Sharma recently joined Radisson Blu Hotel, Dwarka, New Delhi as an Executive Chef and he will take the lead role for all food and beverage operations. Prior this, Chef Mahesh has worked with luxury and five-star properties like, Hotel Le Meridien Jaipur, Swallow Hotels UK, Rajputana Sheraton as an Executive Chef and General Manager.

Mohammad Shoeb, General Manager, Radisson Blu, Dwarka said, “We are thrilled to have veteran Chef Mahesh Kumar Sharma onboard and have full faith in his unique understanding of modern Indian food. His rich culinary experience will surely take our brands to new heights. He will oversee two restaurants- RICE, DVAR and coffee shop, SPRING.”

Chef Mahesh said, “I am very excited to work with the existing culinary team members while at the same time showcase my creative skills. I am looking to bring forth some menu changes by adding my signature dishes, while continuing to serve old favourites loved by the guests.”

A culinary expert, food writer and celebrated Chef, Chef Mahesh has a unique understanding of Indian flavors in modern Indian food; and a rich experience of working with reputed hotels in India and abroad has reached global heights. Known for his quality-driven style, Chef Mahesh strives to blend his zeal of being a chef and creativity as an artist/painter. Innovation and creativity at its best are two traits that can be attributed to him.

Chef Mahesh is an architect of unique food dishes and the very first Indian chef to receive many accomplishments and awards during his tenure as an Executive Chef with great brands including, Times Nightlife Awards- Best Outlet (2011), The Golden Star Chef of the Year Award (2011), Silver Hat Awards presented by ICF North (2010), Star Achiever Award for Popular Cuisine (2007), Chef of the Year Award (2006), Young Achiever in Hospitality(2006), Toper of Intermediate Food Hygiene Course from Health, UK (2005), Gold Medallist Salon Culinary Dubai (2003).
