The entire HVS India team under Manav Thadani has parted ways with HVS and formed a new Consultancy company called, HOTELIVATE. Hotelivate will offer all services that HVS used to offer to the hospitality industry in the country and the Asia Pacific region from now on.

This announcement comes on the heels of HVS restructuring its business in India earlier this year, whereby it moved its non-core services to a separate entity, Hotelivate, even as Consulting, Executive Search and Asset Management continued to operate under the HVS license.

Manav Thadani will be the Founder Chairman of Hotelivate with Megha Tuli as Partner and Co-Founder. Achin Khanna, Natwar Nagar and Saurabh Gupta will be Managing Directors in charge of Strategic Advisory, Executive Search, Investment Advisory and Asset Management Services, respectively.

Speaking on the development, Thadani, said, “As HVS, we were able to bring in systems and processes never seen before in the region, and that helped us establish a niche for ourselves as consultants. It’s with great pleasure that we announce the expansive role of Hotelivate, adding more services to our portfolio as we begin a new journey in consulting. A change in name does not change our commitment to excellence and passion for all things hospitality.”

Giving clear indications that he had decided to “go his own” ever since the change of guard at HVS from Steve Rushmore Sr. to his son, Thadani, in a telephonic interview said that the team of Hotelivate will continue to offer similar and more services to the industry in the region. “The most important aspect is that all the 42 employees will now move over to Hotelivate. No one is staying back. The five partners together have 80 years of HVS experience and the entire team put together has 250 years of HVS experience. So, we are just going out and forming our own entity,” he said.

Thadani said that, Hotelivate will soon have offices in Singapore and Bangkok besides the existing offices in Delhi and Mumbai. Moreover, all the conferences HVS used to organise in India and in the regional markets will now be held under the banner of Hotelivate, Thadani said. These include HOSI, HICSA and THINC conferences in Bali, Sri Lanka and Bangkok.

“We are enthusiastic about the road ahead. With a team of consultants having over 250 years of collective experience, Hotelivate is well-entrenched to service client needs through empathetic and tailor-made solutions that are focused on adding value to their projects,” said Megha Tuli.
