SLW launches a reward programme for Golf travellers to Thailand with support of TAT

SLW, a leading Golf Management company based in Delhi, with the support of Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has launched a reward and loyalty programme of Golf Travellers from India to Thailand.  Named as Thai Golf Passport, Indian golfers travelling to Tee off in the golf courses in Thailand can receive reward points for the services used from the service providers enlisted. To start with, 30 leading golf courses are part of the Thai Golf Passport programme. Thai Airways, the national carrier, half a dozen hotels and resorts in Thailand have already joined the programme.  According to Anil Dev, Founder of SLW, they are in the process of enlisting more golf courses, hotels and resorts and other service providers into the programme. Cox & Kings, Callaway, a sports gear brand, etc. are partners in the programme.

Dev said that they are in the process of enlisting more service providers into the system before they go online with Thai Golf Pass on February 1.  “A new Generation of golfers are taking over in India and they are looking for newer and challenging courses.  Thailand has one of the most modern golf courses which can be combined with leisure, shopping, culinary delights, etc.” he said.  Thai Golf Pass will be a digital pass, he said.

Speaking on the occasion, Isra Stapanaseth, Director, TAT said that Thailand has over 250 golf courses with rich variety. There are golf courses within the city, close to the sea, mountains, etc., he said.  The digital platform will help provide all information about golf tourism in Thailand at the click of a button.

Vani Kapoor, young professional Golfer, who is the brand Ambassador of Thailand, shared her experiences of playing in majestic golf courses in Thailand. She said that Thailand is a family destination which any Golfer can enjoy wth family.
