Café Hydro: An Aqua theme-based Café adds Plant Aquarium

Café Hydro, the two-floored aqua theme-based Cafe located in Borivali, Mumbai has recently added Nature Aquarium as a recreational space attached to its Marine Tunnel section on the second level. Rupesh Sakpal, Owner of Cafe Hydro says that it has been a scientific base that if one keeps looking at plants and greenery, the stress levels go down and also the heart pressure is mellowed own to a balanced one. To entail this relief to their customers, the Nature Aquarium has been added as the latest addition to the outlet.

Design
Donning light on structure the restaurant, the two-floored outlet has three segments namely, Bogie Section at the ground level, Marine Tunnel Section as the second segment and the Wall Aquarium Section at the highest level.

The Bogie section is an imitation of an actual Indian train with minute details including tieredseating arrangement on the sides,while the central walking platform is a glass cage consisting the cross section of railway tracks. This platform leads to a staircase that opens to the Marine Tunnel aquarium that roughly weighs six tonnes with 14,00 litres of sea water resulting into a total weight of 20 tonnes. The third level is the Wall Aquarium section which has kneelevel sit and dine arrangement with floral fabrics and a wall aquarium.

The theme-based restaurant specialises in serving Pan-Asian food with various scrumptious starters like Crispy Chicken Fingers, Crispy Chicken Pops and Fiery Wings among others while the popular mocktails include Lychee Ginger Mojito, Orange and Kaffir Lime Shikanjee. The signature dishes include the Roti Canai and the Burg, Burger, and the Burgest among others. The specialty of their sea food dishes is that they use the Surimi, meaning fish protein in Japanese, is the trend name where only the proteins out of the fish is extracted from Basa Fish, used as the raw material thereby adding the health factor to their dishes.

The Café being occupied fully, frequently during the peak hours of the day, many waiting customers spend a few minutes or also dwell for a few hours looking at the plants at the Nature Aquarium. The latest addition has received immense popularity among many customers and plant hobbyists visiting the café.
