Taylor & Shroff Ltd, a UK-based company, has launched its new range of wines in India. The brand offers various wine flavours, including white wine, apricot wine and red wine. The company has also created two exclusive wines, ‘Cherry Wine’ and ‘Ginger Wine’, especially for Valentine's Day celebration in the country.
Speaking on the occasion, Nainaz Shroff, Managing Director, Taylor & Shroff Group, said, “We are delighted to be part of the Indian wine industry. We see a lot of potential in the market and plan to invest about five million pounds in the next two years. We expect a turnover of 34 million pounds in the next five years.”
Cherry wine is prepared with cherry and is targeted at women as women enjoy soft and soothing drinks, whereas Ginger wine is for men and has a strong flavour in it and is different from other wines available in India and abroad. According to the company statement, Cherry wine is red in colour and has intense fruit flavour. It is sweeter in taste and can be easily consumed with the spicy Indian food. Both, the Cherry and Ginger wines have 17 per cent alcohol content. |
