Marriott International has announced the addition of three properties to its luxury JW Marriott Hotels & Resorts brand portfolio: JW Marriott Hotel Cuzco, Peru (opening in 2010), JW Marriott Hotel Tripoli, Libya (opening in 2011) and JW Marriott Coco Beach Resort & Spa, Puerto Rico (opening in 2011.) The three additions will bolster the JW Marriott Hotels & Resorts brand pipeline to 25 properties opening now through 2013.
Ed Fuller, President & Managing Director - International Lodging, Marriott International noted that amongst future openings in the next 48 months, JW Marriott branded hotels will launch in countries like India, Kazakhstan, Colombia, China and Vietnam.
The 150 room JW Marriott Hotel Cuzco, Peru will be located in the heart of Cuzco’s colonial district on a site of the former Convent of San Agustin. Marriott International will manage the hotel under a long-term agreement with Inversiones La Rioja, S A.
370 room JW Marriott Hotel Tripoli, Libya is owned by Daewoo Tripoli Investment and Development Co, a joint venture between Daewoo engineering and Construction and Oyia Co. |
