'Ginger' unveils in Mangalore

Roots Corporation Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Indian Hotels Company Limited, launched its GenNext ‘Smart Basics’ Hotel — Ginger in Mangalore. Ananthakrishna, Chairman, Karnataka Bank Limited, inaugurated Ginger’s third hotel in the state.

The 79 room Ginger Hotel is located Near Kottara Chawki Junction, Mangalore. Speaking on the occasion, Prabhat Pani, CEO & Director, Roots Corporation Ltd, said, “Our initiatives will help to boost the infrastructure for domestic and international travellers. Ginger Hotel has created a niche for itself in the branded no-frills category.” The hotel will cater to business and leisure travellers.

The hotel has individually air-conditioned rooms equipped with electronic locks, a work area, 20-inch LCD television with satellite channels, direct-dial telephone including STD facility, mini-fridge and posturepedic mattresses. Other guest facilities include a conference room with a capacity of 25 people, a cyber café, gymnasium, automatic check in kiosk, ATM, vending machines, digital safe deposit boxes and Wi-Fi connectivity in public areas and individual rooms.
