Hilton Goa Resort and Goan Culinary Club organises Goenchem Fest 2022

The distinct Goan cuisines come from the traditional ways of cooking and due to the fast-paced lives people choose to pick up the easiest methods. In the process, the charm cannot be found and the delicacies do not come out to be as authentic as they should be. 

In order to give people a taste of the authenticity of Goan cuisine, Goan Culinary Club and the Hilton Goa Resort have associated to bring back the charm to the authentic Goan cuisine for a never-before-experience. To celebrate this ode to the lost Goan cuisine, The Goan Culinary Club (GCC) and Hilton Goa Resort are hosting an event open to all, the Goan Food Fest on the 21st of May 2022 at Hilton Goa Resort.

This event celebrates Goan food in the most authentic way leading to an experience to indulge in the lost Goan recipes. With traditional beverage counters featuring Urrack and Feni inspired cocktails and soul-stirring live traditional Goan music and cultural performances like Fado amongst others. 

On this occasion, Amandeep Singh Grover, General Manager, Hilton Goa Resort expresses, “We look forward to welcoming you all at this event as we bring back Goa’s lost recipes at the Goenchem Fest 2022 in association with Goan Culinary Club happening at Hilton Goa Resort. This zero plastic event will showcase recipes in food and beverage which are long forgotten; curated specially by the culinary experts in Goan cuisine. ”

The event will showcase recipes passed on from generation to generation which are no more available in today’s time. The fest will lay out a spread consisting of authentic dishes such as Fofos de peixe (fish fritters), Porco Alejanto (pork and clams), Bolo san Rival, Beef croquettes, Pineapple sansav, Dedos de dama (made on site), the Bibe, Tarlyache Amotik and more cooked by Goan home chefs and culinary experts from the Goan Culinary Club. 

Not only this, but the event will also serve Goan inspired gourmet such as Kokum infused macarons, Xacutti Mushroom spring roll, Beef vindaloo Onigiri, Chargrilled pork cafreal potato crisps, Sago Fruit Custard Cups, Prawn and Red Rice Arancini and Ragi nachos with Bimbli salsa to allow their guests to indulge in the traditional & inspired Goan delicacies and experience the authentic taste of Goa.
