Hauz Khas SOCIAL reopens its doors

HBI Staff | Hyderabad

At the nucleus of the area stands Hauz Khas SOCIAL, where people can have a relaxing meal, listen to  upcoming artists or party into the night. The outpost also boasts the perfect balance of work and play, featuring a co-working space for creative independents and budding entrepreneurs. In fact, this was where Aman Gupta and Sameer Mehra, the founders of boAt set up shop and gave birth to their trailblazing brand. To pay homage to this Social Works success story, two new dishes, the Boat-e-Kebab and Boat-e-Chaap, have been added to the menu.

The core of Hauz Khas SOCIAL remains unchanged. The menu features classic eats packed with flavour and delightful cocktails with unique twists. It is the go-to spot for lazy lunches, casual catch-ups with friends or unforgettable nights. It continues to be a path-breaking urban hangout where like-minded artists, musicians, designers and independent thinkers can come together to bounce-off ideas, learn, grow and thrive. The minimal intervention and maximum upcycling theme has been maintained in the decor, which is 100% recycled and upcycled furniture juxtaposed with hard industrial elements. Some original art pieces can still be spotted on the unfinished bare walls but the vibe that engulfs the outpost is completely new.

Commenting on the reopening, Riyaaz Amlani, CEO & MD of Impresario Handmade Restaurants says, “SOCIAL’s tryst with Delhi began with Hauz Khas and this reopening holds a special place in all our hearts. Our patrons asked, and we answered! Hauz Khas SOCIAL is back, and we’re ready for our next chapter. Impresario Handmade Restaurants also completes 20 years in the hospitality industry this year, where we have strived to serve our patrons the ‘out-of-the-ordinary’, create new dining formats and forge new experiences coupled with an unmatched F&B offering. Hauz Khas SOCIAL represents all that and a whole lot more and we are thrilled about our next innings with our patrons in Delhi NCR!”

Mayank Bhatt, Business Head - SOCIAL says  “We’re so thrilled to be reopening Hauz Khas SOCIAL. It was this outpost that put us on the map in Delhi NCR, and gave our patrons a place to hang, eat, drink, enjoy live music, get their creative juices flowing at the workspace and dance their hearts out. What began as an easy hangout spot, soon transformed into a space where the community came together, be it for Work or Play. We stay true to our values and reopen Hauz Khas SOCIAL as the icon that it once was- complete with a loaded menu of #eats & #drnks that push the envelope, a workspace brimming with creatively charged people, a stage for art, culture, music to seamlessly integrate and a vibe like never before!”

In the lead-up to the launch, customers were asked to share memories of all the crazy nights they had at Hauz Khas SOCIAL. Hundreds of images poured in and these priceless memories have become a part of the  #ReliveHauzKhasSOCIAL campaign. Now Delhiites can finally return to their original  happy place to rejoice, reminisce and make even more memories.
