NRAI has announced one of its kind virtual Knowledge Series for the F&B Fraternity - NRAI Insider’s Guide to F&B powered by Petpooja. Through this series, NRAI aims to strengthen the F&B Fraternity by educating them on all possible aspects of running successful, sustainable and profitable F&B Businesses. We are grateful to Petpooja for supporting this Knowledge Series and are hopeful that these sessions will provide right guidance and help our Industry in the long run.”

Marketing and Communications really form the backbone of any successful business. Therefore, NRAI kick-started this Knowledge Series with the first event on May 31, 2022 – ‘Marketing Strategies for Your Brand’. Gauri Devidayal, Director of Food Matters Group started the event saying that “It doesn’t matter whether we are new to Industry or Veterans, we are all constantly learning from each other to get better at our businesses and that’s the idea behind this series to focus on various aspects of F&B businesses for dine-in and delivery to build not just a fantastic brand but doing so profitably. We will be conducting various knowledge sessions by industry experts on monthly basis.”

Thereafter, the Subject Expert Alexander Valladares, CMO of Impresario Handmade Restaurants, which owns popular brands like SOCIAL, Smoke House Deli, Salt Water Café, Boss Burger and many more, shared his trade secrets and covered all possible aspects of Marketing Strategies for both Delivery and Dine-in. Highlights of his presentation are as follows:
  •  Optimize Aggregators to drive volumes and Order Direct Platforms to drive AOV
  •   Create a Multi-channel marketing approach and utilize Social Media, Google Display Network, SEO, SEM, SMS, Whatsapp, Emailer, etc to drive awareness and conversions

  • He shared key metrics and data for aggregators and various social media platforms for working on the most effective and optimum marketing strategy
  • Never underestimate the power of Nano Influencers and Local Communities
  • Move the narrative beyond F&B by creating engaging experiences
  • Community is at the heart of all that we do. Associate with national and hyper local communities & use them to create events, experiences and derive content out of it
  • Build strong IP’s to increase top of mind brand recall (on ground and content based)
  • Personifying each customer and qualifying the existing customer base using Machine Learning algorithms that consider recency, frequency, monetary and other product attributes important to the brand, thus increasing sales through targeted communication
  • Lastly, use social media to create engagement, give the user an opportunity to create and become a part of the brand narrative
