NRAI has announced one of its kind virtual Knowledge Series for the F&B Fraternity - NRAI Insider’s Guide to F&B powered by Petpooja. Through this series, NRAI aims to strengthen the F&B Fraternity by educating them on all possible aspects of running successful, sustainable and profitable F&B Businesses. Under this series, NRAI will be conducting virtual knowledge sessions every month on various subjects with the Subject Experts.

Marketing and Communications really form the backbone of any successful business. Therefore, NRAI kick-started this Knowledge Series with the first event on May 31, 2022 – ‘Marketing Strategies for Your Brand’. Gauri Devidayal, Director of Food Matters Group moderated the session with the Subject Expert Alexandar Valladares, CMO of Impresario Handmade Restaurants and Shaival Desai, Chief Growth Officer of Petpooja.
Gauri Devidayal, Director of Food Matters Group started the event saying that “It doesn’t matter whether we are new to Industry or Veterans, we are all constantly learning from each other to get better at our businesses and that’s the idea behind this series to focus on various aspects of F&B businesses for dine-in and delivery to build not just a fantastic brand but doing so profitably. Thereafter, the Subject Expert Alexander Valladares, CMO of Impresario Handmade Restaurants, which owns popular brands like SOCIAL, Smoke House Deli, Salt Water Café, Boss Burger and many more, shared his trade secrets and covered all possible aspects of Marketing Strategies for both Delivery and Dine-in. - Create a Multi-channel marketing approach and utilize Social Media, Google Display Network, SEO, SEM, SMS, Whatsapp, Emailer, etc to drive awareness and conversions
- Focus on remarketing as the customers have high propensity to buy and the cost of reactivation is lower
- He shared key metrics and data for aggregators and various social media platforms for working on the most effective and optimum marketing strategy

- Move the narrative beyond F&B by creating engaging experiences
- Community is at the heart of all that we do. Associate with national and hyper local communities & use them to create events, experiences and derive content out of it
- Build strong IP’s to increase top of mind brand recall (on ground and content based)
- Personifying each customer and qualifying the existing customer base using Machine Learning algorithms that consider recency, frequency, monetary and other product attributes important to the brand, thus increasing sales through targeted communication
- Lastly, use social media to create engagement, give the user an opportunity to create and become a part of the brand narrative
