| | In a bid to feature Gurgaon on the international tourism map, Haryana Financial Commissioner and Principal Secretary (Tourism) Keshni Anand Arora has suggested organising a grand shopping festival in Gurgaon on the lines of the Dubai Shopping Festival. At a meeting with hoteliers and mall owners of Gurgaon yesterday, Arora said that a grand shopping festival can be organised in Gurgaon in December 2009, with their help.
News agency UNI quoted Arora saying, “How and where it could be organised, should be suggested by hoteliers and mall owners. For this, they can appoint good event managers. Unique products from best companies could be put up for sale in the grand shopping festival.
