Resort World Sentosa Singapore set to start operation early next year

On a three city road show in India to unveil the product to the travel trade

Touted as one of the biggest entertainment facility and family destination in Asia, Resort World Sentosa is all set to open its doors in Singapore early next year. The Resort, which is spread across 49 hectares, is one of the most expensive and extensive resorts to be commissioned in record time of three years at an estimated cost of six billion Singapore dollars. The integrated resort located on the Sentosa Island will house the region’s only Universal Studios theme park, six unique hotels with meetings and convention facilities, Marine Park, luxury spa, multitude of entertainment, food and shopping options. Developed by Genting Group, Asia’s leading gaming operator, the Group expects around 13 million visitors to the ‘fun capital’ in the first year.

Resort World Sentosa is currently on a three city road show in India to unveil the product to the India travel trade. The road show in Delhi was conducted earlier this week, while the one in Mumbai took place yesterday. The road show in Bengaluru will take place tomorrow.
