Hotel Jewel’s new hotel to have Radisson branding

The only five-star property outside NCR in Haryana to be operational in May 2010

Karnal-based Jewel Classic Hotels Pvt Ltd has tied up with Carlson Hotels for management of their upcoming five-star hotel in Karnal, Haryana. The 118-room hotel, which is in the final stages of construction, is scheduled to become operational in May 2010. According to sources, the promoters have agreed for Carlson’s ‘Radisson’ brand for the hotel.

This will be the first five-star hotel outside National Capital Region (NCR) of Haryana. It will have suites, heritage suites and royal club rooms. and will have a convention hall spread across 18,000 sq ft area and will be able to accommodate 2,100 people.

As per sources, the convention facility will be the largest in the region. The hotel will be positioned as a business hotel and equal importance will be given to conventions and theme-based weddings. There will be a health club and spa in the property, which will mainly focus on weekend leisure travellers from the NCR and other parts of Haryana and nearby states.

The hotel will have two restaurants, one coffee shop and a bar. Besides, Jewel Classic Hotels are the owners of a four-star property known as Hotel Jewel’s Karnal.
