Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok to open in June 2010

Kempinski, Europe’s oldest luxury hotel brand, will open the Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok in June this year. The luxury city resort will have 303 rooms and suites. The new property will feature an executive lounge on the 17th floor, a 900 sq-metre pillar-free ballroom, a rooftop spa, a kids’ club, business centre and four suites including a Royal Suite with a private rooftop garden. Besides, it will also include 98 serviced apartments called the Kempinski Residences Siam, which will have its own Bistro restaurant.

The Siam Kempinski, will showcase its standards and traditions in outlets such as the Brasserie Europa, for European fine cuisine, the Sra Bua ‘Lotus’ Thai restaurant, the T Lounge, which will serve finest tea, cocktails and champagne and the 1897 bar, named after the year that Kempinski first started business in Berlin.

Thomas Klippstein, General Manager, Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok said that the property will combine Kempinski’s trademark European sophistication and refinement with the finest of Thai hospitality standards. “We aim to bring together the best of East and West and create an opulent sanctuary in the heart of the city.
