According to the June 2010 STR Global Construction Pipeline Report, the Asia/Pacific hotel development pipeline comprises 1,007 hotels totalling 2,52,969 rooms. China ended the month with 1,38,492 rooms in the total active pipeline, accounting for more than 50 per cent of rooms in the total active pipeline among the countries of the region.
