World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) has recently asked key members of the Council to produce their own short videos and join the Council’s global campaign to change the perception about the career profiles available for youth in the travel and tourism industry. While the travel and tourism sector has the potential to address the youth unemployment and gender inequality issues, which many countries of the world are grappling with, the Council felt that the sector has not been able to attract youth to join its ranks due to lack of clarity and awareness about the career profiles in the sector. Through these short videos, known industry personalities have been asked, among other things, to explain how their decision to opt for travel and tourism as a career changed their life for the better. more>>
